EMT molested me, teen says
An 18-year-old patient rushed to a Staten Island hospital early yesterday told cops she was molested in the emergency room by a member of the ambulance crew, police said.
The young woman called 911 and told a dispatcher she was having a miscarriage, a law enforcement source said. En route to St. Vincent's Hospital, an emergency medical technician identified as Michael Napoli, 45, began making sexually suggestive comments, the source said.
Once in a hospital treatment room about 7:25 a.m., the EMT allegedly touched the woman's breasts. When she protested, he unzipped his pants and asked her to perform a sex act, the law enforcement source said.
Cops arrested the 12-year FDNY veteran at the hospital, and he was charged with sex abuse and official misconduct, both misdemeanors.
