Marionettes, puppets by Scott Radke

Lots of marionettes and other work at his site.

Scott Radke was born in Cleveland Ohio, spent his childhood in Strongsville, and has lived in the city of Cleveland for the last 10 years. His work has been shown locally and nationally, and is collected and has been commissioned throughout the US and Radke has public art displayed throughout the Tremont and Ohio City neighborhoods in the form of murals/graffiti, While his current focus is on the creation of marionettes and stylized drawings, Radke is also recognized for his sand-sculpture/photography from 5 summers creating at Edgewater park beach Radke collaborates with local modern dance choreographer, Sarah Morrison, and created sand-sculptures for the site-specific dance, ERIE SIRENS, performed at sunset at Edgewater park. He has also been commissioned for visual work in theatrical presentations produced by the Cleveland Public Theater and the Food For Thought dance project. Much of his training comes from his own experience following the practices of trial and error; however, he has had some formal drawing experience and is greatly influenced by his life-drawing teachers Louis Vance, Shirley Alley Campbell, Howard Colier, Marilyn Szlay, and others.
