Bizarre doesn't even begin to describe the premise of these ads - ugly puppet flirts with fabulous looking woman.The Lux ads aired in mid 2003 and 2004 and some are still on once in a while. The Honda ads aired until 2003 whilethe Lux ads started soon after the Honda ads ended their run."

A co-worker of mine was a Muppeteer, she was one of the green covered people in the 3rd ad. This is what she said of the ad:

But before all that Aeon and Oscar stuff, Charlize did a few secret Japanese commercials for Honda featuring her and an orange Henson monster puppet. I was lead puppeteer for a team of three performing it in the first three ads on this site - the last one in the giant shell was performed by someone else while I was working at Tippett's. It was a hyperactive Japanese crew and director - a very "Lost in Translation" -type experience. The ads are really fast and bizarre and they liked the puppet being pretty frantic. I'm one of the green-covered people with Charlize in the third ad.
