DiCaprio reports attack to police

Leonardo DiCaprio has filed a police report over an attack which left him needing 12 stitches.

The 30-year-old Aviator hunk claims he was assaulted at a Hollywood party by a female wielding a deadly weapon. According to some reports, he was hit in the face with a beer bottle.
The incident occurred at the home of Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon.

"Leo was attacked by a woman who was trespassing and had been repeatedly asked to leave the property," DiCaprio's spokesman Ken Sunshine said.

Police have said no suspects have been arrested over the attack so far. "The investigation is ongoing, and no one is in custody at this time. The motive is unknown," a Los Angeles Police Department statement said.
