Artist Profile: Chris Sickels

"Red Nose Studio's home base in Greenfield, Indiana. Chris Sickels is the one man crew along with his superior k-9 partner Corwin. Chris has been illustrating since 1995, Red Nose Studio was conceived in 2000 to allow Chris to take his work into animation and character design. Working from his sketches the illustrations are built entirely by hand consisting of wire, foam, polymer clay, fabric, found objects, wood, water etc. Just about anything with in arms reach and he has considerably long arms. The pieces are then shot in studio primarily on a 4x5 camera. Some clients include: The New York Times, Business Week, The Wall St. Journal, The L.A. Times, Fast Company, Village Voice, among others."
