Collagemania: Ellen Land Weber

Is that a wookie in the background?

Here's a snippet about her work:

Polaroid Collage/Assemblage

The Polaroid collage portfolio is a large body of work made between the late 1970's and mid 1990's. Early work was made with the SX-70 format, later work with the Polaroid 20 x 24 camera, and 4x5 view camera. At least two millenia of art history are the source for representations of male and female figures, now repositioned with the intent to comment on traditional and contemporary societal expectations of the relationships between men and women. A selection of this work can be found in The Polaroid Collection in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
