Mr. Hooper

I am a product of Nashville, Tennessee, its neighborhoods and people. I have been fortunate in my life to have known some very unusual individuals. Basically, my art is rooted in the true story of my life, though I choose to embellish it as I will.

I taught myself to draw by emulating Robert Crumb as a teenager. As my ability has grown, I have coupled my cartooning skills with a desire to tell stories. Essentially, my paintings are about temptation and vice.
