Woman Admits Starting Fire When Husband Doesn't Get Her Beer

Wife Accepts Plea Deal, Avoids Jail Time

A Louisville woman accused of starting a fire because her husband wouldn't get her a beer made a plea deal with prosecutors.Tuesday morning, Ruby Jewell pleaded guilty to arson, wanton endangerment and assault, WLKY NewsChannel 32 reported.Jewell won't have to go to prison, but she'll have to complete a diversion program.The couple's five children were at home at the time of the fire last year, but were not injured.
