Drawn! » Blog Archive » Sin City: From Page to Screen

miller.sin_city

The folks over at Film Rotation have made a side-by-side comparison of stills from the Sin City movie trailer and panels lifted directly from Frank Miller’s comics.

Here is the comment I put on this post at Drawn!:
I just saw the movie a few hours ago, really enjoyed it, especially all the white blood and boobies. I did find it dragging in places, but overall liked it. They pull no punches in this movie, that is for sure, gratuitous violence ala 'Kill Bill' abound.
Elijah Wood was fairly creepy in this film, good for him, gotta shake that Hobbit typecast, if it exists.

As a bonus, here is an article from Wired on Robert Rodriguez, the director of Sin City.
