Why? I think it's only fair that if somebody uses a fair amount of time and money to develop some cool free stuff like the games on Sporkle.com that the least they can get out of it is a database of users. They don't even send out a newsletter at the moment so it's not as if it's a big problem.
Let me modify: I hate getting spam, and spam usually rears it's Viagra swollen head from registering for sites, even those that promise 'we don't sell emails to 3rd party...' blah blah blah.
Notice that I'm not saying Sporkle does that, I'm leaving it up to Snarky readers to decide whether or not they want to register.
Just because I'm curious, are you associated with Sporkle?
